Second of the series. Fun fact about this one is she came out from a rejected commission sketch. I liked the pose so I finished it. Desc by :iconmocaw:

Ruby

If anyone asks Ruby about her origins, she will tell of a long story of fantasy worthy of the famed Shaherezad. She will speak of a Christian queen and a strange egg found in a cave. She will speak of wars and countries that no longer exist, of her life as a princess in a far away land and how she was captured by the ruler of a Saracen nation and became the jewel of his harem due to her striking beauty and her skills in the arts of love.

She say all of this with a playful flick of her dragon like tail and a darting of her forked tongue, as if not making clear of is just a joke or the real truth. Is known, however, that she was one of the first to come to the brothel many years ago, and she has yet to age a single day, and some had claimed to have seen her breathing fire to light up the candles in her room. The truth, however, remains a complete mystery, as perhaps it is best to be.

There are clues, however: Ruby shows a strong understanding of the culture and arts of the Orient, especially the lands around Araby, especially as it pertains to the mythology of that area. She also shows a strong affinity for fire and warmth, and shows great satisfaction in laying by the hearth and staring long and lovingly into the flames.

Whatever her true origin, her passion and her exotic appearance make her a popular companion in Miss Michika's service.
