The Silver Glaive

Description

The nuns of Our Lady of the Broken Heart have a secret. Since their order was founded in the late tenth century, they have kept a lonely vigil over the world, watching for the rise of undead ghouls. The unquiet dead are silenced by a group of young girls: the Quietus Angels, armed with silver polearms and trained to slay the undead. And one of the best and brightest of these Angels of Silence is Alicia Greenscales: she of the Silver Glaive.

Alicia is meant to be a kuudere, this is a very quiet, cold character with a soft underneath. I really like her design so I may develop her a lil more.

Ok, best way to do this is be fair and level minded, while not taking into account the obvious distractors; which I have noticed to be a trademark of your art style and character design.

Its a definete anime inspired style, but I would also note the amount of extra detail that was put in beyond just merely the character design. The extra designs on the blade, actual speckling to the ground, and even the trees hidden in the fade of it. All these point to and help raise the picture higher than it just being a run of the mill anthro/anime pic which litter deviant art like the results of two horny bunnies.

Also the foreshortening is well done, you can obviously tell that the hands, legs, and ends of the spear are different widths and lengths. They're not overly done and trying to blow the effect out of proportion.

The only parts I would say that appear a little off are the right (anatomical right) breast should be a tad higher and the stripe going down the side of her uniform isnt flushing correctly with the contour of the body.

Those are the only things that catch my attention at first glace, but overall I really do like the piece. I'd want to see line work if there is any just to compare the original design against what using color added to it.
