Nightmare Karen

Karen was never a nice girl. A notorious female racer, she was known just as much for the shortness of her skirts as she was her viciousness with a baseball bat. Striding her prized Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle, she took on all comers in vicious, downhill motorcycle with reckless abandon, seducing rich pretty boys and leaving their shattered hearts in her wake. One of those pretty boys, it turned out, wasn't so pretty, and she too was soon nearly killed and infected with the Nephilim curse. She was luckier than some, however, in that she was quickly taken in by the mysterious Adelard Clef, the urban wizard who had come to be a mentor to two others. Karen soon joined that bizarre family, although in many ways, she remains a black sheep. Compared to Kit's quietly sarcastic attitude, and Kayla's enthusiastic if misplaced sense of honor and duty, Karen is a pure hedonist. For her, life is nothing but chasing pleasure in any way, shape or form, and any moment spent not seeking fun is a moment wasted.

Her tendrils, her most obvious attribute, are covered with billions of tiny stinging cells that release neurotoxin in levels ranging from merely painful and numbing to immediately fatal to any human. Her thin covering of scales, and rather slimy skin, give her a natural defense against many enemy attacks. Despite these abilities, Karen still prefers the sneak attack fromt the shadows, as long experience has taught her that this is the best way to be sure of coming out on top. As a famous philosopher once said: "Bring a stick to a fist fight, a knife to a fist fight, a gun to a knife fight, a tank to a gun fight, don't go to tank fights."
